Every student is different: some breeze through algebra, but struggle with geometry; some love English, but find U.S. History daunting; others become overwhelmed with an honors or AP class or overburdened by a demanding class schedule. Some classes are just plain difficult and students need help! Our Sacramento tutors could be the answer.
After tutoring Sacramento students for several years, we know that a tutor can provide many benefits. A talented and thoughtful tutor can assist with the substantive material of the day, help identify and address deficits in understanding, enhance study skills, and encourage habits that improve learning. A tutor can also be a positive role model and mentor who develops a relationship with a student and models the values associated with strong academic performance, such as curiosity, diligence, focus, and determination.
We maintain a network of tutors are are experts in specific subjects and tutor all levels of math, science, English, history, language, theology, and other subjects. When a student requests help in multiple subjects, we do our best to connect him or her with one tutor, but we often link the student with multiple tutors (e.g., one for math tutoring and another for English tutoring).
