Hi! I’m Sarah, the Director of Tutoring and Counseling at Academic Impact. In addition to keeping things running behind the scenes at Academic Impact, I spend the majority of my time working one-on-one with students as a college counselor. I love getting to know my clients and helping them develop as students and as people so that they have the best options available to them when it comes to deciding where to go to college. My goal is to reduce the stress associated with the college admissions process by guiding students through it in a supportive, thoughtful way.
I’ve been with Academic Impact since 2015, when its owner, Brian Geremia, and I graduated from McGeorge Law School. After taking the Bar Exam, Brian and I started talking about his plans and goals for growing Academic Impact and pretty soon, I was on board full-time managing the business, working with students, and developing our College Counseling program. The past three years have been incredibly rewarding and I’m so glad I get to help students achieve their goals!
When I’m not working, you can usually find me reading, baking, or sampling all of the desserts in Sacramento. I’m always happy to answer questions or talk more about what I can do to help with the college admissions process, so feel free to reach out!
